Another way to contribute is through the purchase of any of these three items to help relieve poverty in impoverished communities in Kenya, Ethiopia and Tanzania. In the poorest regions of
Africa, a mosquito's bite can be deadly. Every 30 seconds an child dies from malaria. A simple, inexpensive $10 insecticide-treated
bed net can change that. It lasts for 5 years and protects 2 people. Examples of costs to fund:
$10 will pay for a bed net that can protect a child for 5 years from dying of malaria.
$25 will provide a school lunch every day for an entire semester, giving a reason to go to school and learn.
$50 will pay for a home lighting system and lantern, and provide power in villages with no electricity.
